Integrated Marketing Campaign
#FantasticBeasts
Twitter partnered with Warner Bros. to launch the much anticipated trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Starting with J.K. Rowling’s announcement on NBC’s Today show that the trailer would be shared exclusively on Twitter, fans flocked to Twitter, to be part of the conversation around the movie, characters, beasts and potential storyline. In addition to the content driven conversation on social media, Twitter also took over digital billboards in Times Square, Penn Station in New York, Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square and Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. The digital billboards showed the ‘in real time’ conversation, taking the fandom and Twitter to a new level.
Result: industry first, showing the conversation on Twitter happening ‘in real time’ Tweets on DOOH
